La SATEF began its activity in 1946 quarrying and manufacturing sands and clays for the steel and iron foundries market, in association with DE RIGHETTI & FILÉ, Milan, a trade company operating in this field since the 1924. The activities of SATEF were further extended to cover the whole range of foundry auxiliaries, due to the partnership with HÜTTENES ALBERTUS in Düsseldorf, one of the biggest world wide group for binders and chemical additives for foundries, and its sister company CHEMEX, specialized in metals treatments. Since 1977 SATEF-HA has been operating a 50.000 sq.m plant (of which 12.000 sq.m are covered) placed in the West Industrial Area of Vicenza, with more than 75 employees, a national clientele and a remarkable number of customers in bordering countries served by a direct sales network. A complete package for the whole process is available, whether for refractory or chemical materials. The use of modern production techniques and considerable storage capacity, enable SATEF HÜTTENES ALBERTUS S.p.A. to ensure an efficient and valued service, supplying high quality products to all its customers, including some of the most important Italian companies.
